Account Executive

Remote or Atlanta, GA

Overview:

Daymaker is seeking a high-performing, heart-centered person to lead and expand company partnerships for our growing startup.

Background on Daymaker and the need:

Daymaker is an online giving platform, and our mission is to share joy by creating possibilities for children. We believe in giving as a vehicle for us to promote our individual and collective well-being while transferring resources so every kid has the potential to lead a life of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Our giving platform lets companies run seasonal giving campaigns like Back-to-School and Holidays that enable employees to purchase holistic items for specific children supported by local nonprofit partners.

We worked with over 70 companies last year supporting 68 nonprofits across the US and Canada, ranging from local programs of national organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs, to hyper-local organizations like Hand, Heart & Soul Project in Atlanta. Our company partners include a range of industries, sizes, and geographic locations, ranging from high-growth technology companies (e.g., RelayPayments, GoGuardian) to mission-minded brands across industries (e.g., Chobani, Movement Mortgage).

This person will lead everything it takes for us to create and maintain company partnerships. They’ll manage a sales pipeline to help share our story and welcome new companies into the Daymaker ecosystem. They’ll also collaborate with existing partners to understand ways that Daymaker can help them accomplish goals for company culture & community impact, while keeping our product fresh and exciting for employees.

What we’re looking for:

  • A true people person who loves serving others and recognizes the potential of unlocking generosity in a corporate setting
  • Someone passionate about generating new business and tailoring Daymaker’s offering to the needs & vision of a potential company partner
  • Someone who can embody the essence of Daymaker’s mission while meeting clients where they are, translating our value into success metrics that please our partners’ CEOs, CFOs, and People Leaders
  • The ideal candidate would have a background in sales, client services, or customer success, with experience managing both external partnerships and an internal team
  • Core skills are relating well to others, managing a pipeline of prospects & existing partners, proactively creating solutions that make giving more compelling to a company, and problem solving. Proficiency making graphics / presentations is helpful
  • At least 2-3 years professional experience preferred
  • A fit with our team, which values intentionality, care, partnership, and play

The specifics:
